My Realistic Dream Home

Someday day, Jaime and I will get our dream home. It probably won't be quite a dream home right when we purchase it: I'm imagining a little bit of work going into it, but eventually that's what it'll become. I thought it would be fun to put a post up of some of the work I would do to and what I would look for in my dream home.

Hopefully we'll be able to find a cozy little craftsman home or a cottage; something with a little character.

The Big 23!


I'm 23!! It's pretty strange, but I'm excited for this age. Actually, it's weird of me to say, but I am really excited to be eventually going into my late 20s and early 30s. Hopefully it doesn't go too fast though! I'm really trying to enjoy what I have while I have it.

My Future Wardrobe 2014

Goodness gracious!! I haven't posted in around a week!! Two and a half of those days I was out of town, but what in the hay was I doing otherwise? Not a clue. 

Anyways, I am so excited for my birthday. So. Excited. Check out my Pinterest Wishlist! For my birthday, Jaime is going to get me some type of clothing that I pick out, which I am very excited about because my clothing is getting old. My shirts are all stretched out, stained, dingy, and some even have holes. 

Unfortunately it's hard for anyone else to get me clothes. You know how family always wants to get you clothes? The thing about me though is that when I was a teenager I didn't get to go through the whole experimenting with clothes phase. That phase unfortunately started a lot later. The good thing though is that I've "settled down" and have found the style that I like. The bad thing is that when people buy me clothes they don't know what my style is since I don't own what I like yet. So I figured here you go. Here is my style!

Fitness Week: Day 9

Last night I completely forgot to workout and was pretty bummed about it. Especially because I took a nap and woke up feeling super weak. I didn't think it would affect me to not work out, but it seriously has. To make up for it, not only am I working out tonight, but earlier I went for a jog and felt a little better.

Fitness Week: Day 7

This fitness week has been fantastic. About halfway through was the hardest, but I still worked out which was great. I did not work out on the sixth day, but on that day I did stretch and didn't feel bad about skipping. Our bodies need a break to heal anyways.

Even though I only made a goal for the week, I'm going to keep going. One more week. And heck, if I still feel good at that point, then I'll keep on going. It might be tough after another week though because my brother will be leaving me to head to the military. What will I do without my workout buddy?!

The nutrition has been going alright. It started out great, but then I started to slack off a lot. Lately I've been having hardcore slurpy cravings that I've been satisfying, so that's a thing. Honestly the nutrition thing wasn't my biggest goal to keep. I really wanted to just eat more vegetables, which I have been doing. Also, I have loved making smoothies with kale or spinach in them to get even more veggies without having to taste them!

I'll keep you posted on how it goes and hopefully I'll improve again on my nutrition!

My Birthday Wishlist 2014

Hi everyone!! My birthday is in 14 days!! I love my birthday. It's my second favorite holiday (Christmas is number one). So I decided I'd post my birthday wishlist top five. 



Obviously I'm not going to get a LG G3 phone, but a girl can dream!! Maybe my fairy godmother will FINALLY appear. It's taken her long enough!

Fitness Week - Day 4 Update

Things have been going pretty well so far. I am proud to say that I haven't missed a day of exercising yet. I've been doing about 15 minutes of exercise each day that targets areas that I want to work on. The first day was abs, the next was arms and then abs again. Today I'm planning on working out my core.
